Chapter 258 A Dangerous Trade

In the evening, on a deserted beach.

A figure appeared without warning.

This is a black-haired man in a black suit. He looks very young, but he exudes mature temperament. He’s also handsome and can be charming when necessary, but at the moment, he’s just putting on a lazy face, yawning and rubbing his hair in a messy way.

Vincent seemed to be waiting for something. He looked up at the sky and soon stayed in the northwest corner of the sky. There is a cloud, lonely cloud, in the sunset that appears so special and bright.

With the passing of time and the sinking sun, the cloud gradually expands to the east and west, forming a long and narrow haze in the sky, which looks like a row of upside-down shallows.

As night falls, the wind stopped gradually. The calm sea becomes dark purple until a dark red crescent climbs into the sky and covers it with a hazy red colour.

“You came too early.” Simon’s voice rang abruptly from behind Vincent.

Vincent neither looked back or wondered: “Time is the least important thing we need. Waiting is also a kind of relaxation.”

“Sensei always has a philosophical talk.” A voice with some childish came. The speaker looks like a teenager of sixteen or seventeen years old. He is also wearing black suits and pants. His appearance is so beautiful that even women would be jealous of his delicate facial features.

“Hehehe… He’s just staring at the sky but pretending to be literary… Hehehe…” Woody’s frivolous laughter also appeared at this moment.

“Whoop…” There was another laugh, and a short, plump, penguin-like fellow appeared near the four people, “Vincent, Woody, Simon, Sid.” Mr. You’s eyes swept over the faces of them one by one. “It’s a great honour to see you four gather together again.”

“Cough… Cough… If you’re not really honoured, don’t say that.” A sick young man appeared on the sea as a phantom said to Mr. You.

There are two other shadows beside him, standing on the surface of the sea in a ghost-like state.

“Is Death absent again?” Simon cast his cold eyes on the three figures.

Plague replied, “You know, he has absolute confidence in his betting target, so he doesn’t pay attention at all.” He covered his mouth and coughed twice: “After all… Who he chose is [The Valiant Ghost Devouring Heaven].”

“Hehehe… You mean, those pawns of us have to work harder, don’t they?”

A woman next to Plague interrupted at this time, “Didn’t the action of you gave Feng Bujue spiritual weapon prove that?”

“Hehehe… You seem very unhappy, Lord Famine…” Woody grinned insidiously.

“I’ve dealt with it.” Simon interrupted them in order to avoid any disagreement between the two guys: “The day after Mr. You finished the farce, it was settled. So there’s no need to argue anymore.”

What Simon meant, of course, is the script that Feng Bujue encountered K3-Hematite. That was the first team survival model that Feng Bujue had joined after the Death Talk. As a result, he met a derivative that was virtually impossible to encounter many times in theory. Obviously, it was manipulated behind the scenes… The loss of the scenario is obvious to all: Feng Bujue lost lot’s of items almost overnight, went back to the pre-liberation state, which is the price of his premature acquisition of spiritual weapons.

“Don’t mention those past things anymore.” Vincent went on to Simon, “Let’s get back to the business.”

“The business is that the person you choose has already realized [Spiritual Mind].” War, on the other side of Plague, said, “It’s going too fast.”

Woody grinned trivially: “Hehe… Your Plague brother’s chosen fellow has just passed the level of 30, but his summoning specialty is already level B, is that not too fast for you?”

The motionless eyes of War suddenly flashed: “Don’t escape what he said, Woody, you know it’s different.”

“Ah… I feel like you are going quarrel…” Somehow, while speaking, Sid shivered with his arms in his arms: “I hate quarrelling…”

Mr. You was there, looking at the Four Villains of Hell and the three of Knights of Apocalypse fighting in word. On the surface he was silent, but in his heart, he was glad to see the fight. He wished these guys would start to fight now really.

“Lord War, you’re right.” Unexpectedly, this sentence came from Vincent’s mouth: “For my person, it’s too early to grasp [Spiritual Mind]… This is not necessarily a good thing.” He paused for a moment and then said, “But things have happened, and they can’t be reversed. How to solve it is what we need to discuss.”

“Hehehe… If you say so, there must be a way to satisfy everyone.” Woody obviously knows Vincent very well.

“My person will not be able to play in the next forty-eight hours of real-time.” Vincent said, “Is that a concession of this kind ok?”

He looked around, no one said anything. Then, he followed, “If there’s no against opinion…” He looked at Plague. “Lord Plague… Would you mind?”

Plague bowed slightly and said with a smile, “My pleasure.”

“But,” Vincent added, “You guys must make me a promise.”

“Sounds like a dangerous trade…” Mr. You caught a whiff of the plot in an instant.

“Here and now, with the exception of Simon, who didn’t bet on the game, the six of you chosen would make a killing game…” Vincent smiled wickedly. “My request is simple. Let them fight.”

“Hum…So it is?” War sneered first: “That’s just what I want… Anyway, my pawn will not lose.”

“I’d be happy to.” Famine followed.

“Since sensei said so…” Sid does not usually disagree with Vincent.

Plague looked at Mr. You and shrugged. “Since no one against it…”

“Hehehe…Sounds so fun…” Woody grinned. “But is that really good?” He turned to Vincent. “The game between the best, the deathmatch beyond the limit, may make them stronger… Hehe……It won’t do you any good anyway.” The lenses of his glasses were still white, no one knows what his expression like, “What do you want to see from this fight?”

Vincent didn’t answer Woody. He just looked at Simon and said, “What do you think, Mr. Referee?”
